How To Fix Shopify Orders Not Appearing In Sell The Trend

Sometimes you can see orders in your Shopify store that do not appear in Sell The Trend.  While this is rare, it can happen sometimes.  


Here are some steps you can take to resolve this issue.


Only do as many of the suggestions below as needed.


Process #1

Insure that the order has products imported from Sell The Trend.  If the order has a product not imported from Sell The Trend, it will not show up.   In order to fix this issue:


  1. Go to Left Menu > Manage > Products
  2. Click on Import from Shopify button.
  3. Select the missing product to add it to Sell The Trend
  4. The order should show up.


Process #2

  1. Go to your Admin Orders page on Shopify and locate the order.   
  2. Slightly adjust the customer name, perhaps by adding a period to the end of the first name.  Save the order.
  3. Wait 1 minute and check your My Orders page on Sell The Trend.  
  4. If the order shows up, just change the customer name back either on Sell The Trend or on Shopify.


If the order still does not show up, we might need to refresh your Shopify connection.  Do process #3. 


Process #3

  1. Go to https://www.sellthetrend.com/dashboard/manage/connections
  2. Locate the store you are interested in refreshing and click the "Recycle" icon next to the name. 
  3. You should get a message that your store is connected.
  4. Do the "Process #2" above to force Shopify to resend the order to Sell The Trend.
