How to transfer domain from Shopify to SellShop

You must have connected your Shopify store to Sell The Trend SHOPS before you start to transfer your domain from Shopify store to Sell The Trend SHOPS.  

In order to transfer a domain from Shopify to SellShop, Click on the Manage tab from the left menu, then click the Connections tab. After you click on the Connections tab, click on the Migrate to SellShop button.


Then select the Shopify store from the dropdown that you would like to transfer to SellShop and then pick a SHOP to start the migration process. The migration process can be achieved by clicking on the Start Migration button.

If you want to transfer a Shopify-managed domain to another domain provider like Namecheap, then you need to unlock your Shopify domain and provide your new domain provider with a new authorization code. To transfer the domain from Shopify, follow the steps below.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Domain.

2. In the Shopify managed domains section, click the domain name you want to transfer.

3. Click transfer domain > transfer to another provider.

4. Review the information, and then click confirm. The domain authorization code is displayed on your domain's information page.

5. Give the domain authorization code to your new domain provider to verify the transfer. 

If you don't complete the domain transfer within 30 days, then your domain will be locked again. To complete a transfer after 30 days, you need to cancel the existing transfer and start the transfer process again.
